Cold Country Salmon

Cold Country Salmon is a small-scale, set net operation that fishes in the crystal blue waters of Bristol Bay, Alaska. Owner and fisherman Zac Culbertson lives just outside of Charlottesville. When not fishing, he runs a small acreage family farm. Every June, Zac heads to Bristol Bay to fish on the Ugashik River. His team brings home the best catch to sell in Virginia and D.C. The fish caught by Zac and Cold Country Salmon are immediately bled on board our skiff, then filleted and packed in ice. Once on shore, the fish is immediately package and freeze the salmon. Take home frozen salmon, lox, and other products.
